Having always been a dynamic, nerdy duo, Heather and Daniel have checked off things like running their own respective businesses, playing D&D campaigns together, living and travelling internationally, training an infamously stubborn dog, and remodeling a home together. Starting Inkling Books, a business focused on all the things they get jazzed about, seemed like the logical next challenge for them!
Heather Ryder
Heather Ryder is an editor who has worked in all levels of the field for over fifteen years. When not editing a journal article or the latest in a series of fantasy novels, she can be found hiking, Pokémon Go-ing, reading, or some combination of the three. While she most often gravitates toward fiction, the technical work of editing scratches both sides of her brain pleasantly enough that she will happily work in almost any genre.
Daniel Ryder
Daniel Ryder is a voice actor and narrator with five years of experience in the industry. Their voice can be found in the Audible library, training materials for corporations like McDonald’s and Hyundai, and a few (not particularly well-known) video games. They specialize in dynamic reads with casts of unique characters, and love diving into the linguistic challenge of bringing believable accents to “real” characters. When they’re not narrating, you can find them running a D&D campaign or getting lost in the middle of nowhere on their motorcycle.
